DIY Easter Carrot Cones: Fun & Festive Treat!

Hey everyone! Happy Easter! It's your favorite baking buddies from Home Baking Diary, and today we're whipping up a carrotastic carrot bread perfect for the Easter season! 🥕🐰

🔹Ingredients:
• Dry ingredients:
flour: 400 gr
sugar: 40 gr
salt: 4 gr
baking powder: 3 gr
yeast: 3 gr
• Wet ingredients:
water: 40 gr
milk: 60 gr
oil: 20 gr
butter: 50 gr
egg: 1
• Food coloring (optional)
• Filling: carrots, potatoes, turmeric, spices, yogurt, mayonnaise

🔹Instructions:
1. Start by making the dough. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix.
2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients and yeast.
3. Mix until the dough comes together.
4. Add the egg and knead the dough by hand or with a stand mixer until smooth and elastic.
5. Add the butter and food coloring (optional) and knead until well incorporated.
6. Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour.
7. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Add turmeric to water and boil carrots and potatoes.
8. Once cooked, mash the carrots and potatoes and set aside.
9. Roll out the dough and cut it into strips.
10. Use a metal cone to shape the dough into carrot shapes.
11. Bake the dough at 180°C for 15 minutes.
12. Mix the filling ingredients together until you have a smooth orange paste.
13. Fill the carrot-shaped dough with the orange filling.
14. Garnish with parsley and enjoy your delicious Easter carrot bread!

🔹Tips:
• For a more intense carrot flavor, you can add grated carrots to the dough.
• You can also add raisins or nuts to the filling for extra texture and flavor.
• If you don't have a metal cone, you can shape the dough into carrots by hand.
• Be sure to let the bread cool completely before filling it, otherwise the filling will make the bread soggy.
