Hey everyone! Long time no posts! So lots of updates coming your way!

Finally getting around to uploading the first of 2 videos from hiking part of the Colorado trail this summer with my boyfriend Jake! Check out our adventure hiking most of the way from Denver to Breckenridge, CO! We hope to continue the Colorado trail in the future as a section hike. A little life update for me, I'm currently living in New York City and going to graduate school. I've done some day hiking here and there but I'm always missing spending weeks in the mountains of course. As far as the channel goes, I will be making occasional posts from any long backpacking trips or section hikes that I take whenever I get breaks from school. I'm not sure when I will find myself attempting a thru again, but hopefully that will be in store for me at some point in the future. For now, graduate school is my biggest adventure and I look forward to continuing to explore the mountains in my new home in the North East!

Colorado trail part 1 info not mentioned in the video! Day 1: not only were we escaping an encounter with a bear and thus having to dry camp, we were unknowingly hiking in record breaking 104 degree weather, which led to dehydration by day 2, which left us rationing our water. Day 2: we had a short 6-7 mile hike to the river on our rationed water leftover from day 1, where we spent basically the whole day lounging by the river and rehydrating (TMI warning: we knew we were super dehydrated because even sitting by the river and drinking water for many hours, we didn't pee all of day 2 until about 5 pm) Day 3: our 3rd day on the trail features us hiking through the dry stretch in the burn zone, which felt kind of like a pocket of desert! This video ends on day 3, stay tuned for the next one!

Also, shout out to my friend Chris who has been making most of the videos on this channel that feature actual hiking content! He has done such a great job with editing and I'm super thankful!
