Review of the Specialized SL 1.2 Motor and its comparison to the original SL 1.1 Motor.

Riders, welcome back to Sam Bikes you know we only talk earwax, and in this video its all about my last 6 months on the Specialized Levo SL Gen2 and most importantly how does the SL 1.2 Motor from Specialized ride out on the trails.

In this review, we will be discussing the performance of the SL 1.2 Motor on off-road trails, the range of its 320Wh internal battery, how it compares to its predecessor, the SL 1.1 motor, and the level of noise it produces in ECO, TRAIL & TURBO modes, along with other features.

To give you a quick overview, the Specialized SL 1.2 motor was released approximately nine months ago. It boasts 50NM of torque, 320 watts of peak power and weighs 1.9kg. The entire system, including the Mastermind TCU, remote, battery and motor weighs just over 4kg.
