Two of our very special guest that have visited our theaters on a regular basis. The late Mickey Carroll. Mickey not only appeared in the 1939 Judy Garland film, but he provided the voices for the soldier, the town crier and the fiddler. Karl Slover is more than just a Munchkin. He is one of the kindest, sweetest, gentlest and funniest people you will ever meet. Karl was the first trumpeter and one of the sleepy heads.

Another note, our theaters owner Ted Bulthaup led the campaign to secure the Munchkins a star. A petition was launched, attracting support from leading lights including Steven Spielberg and Mickey Rooney, a friend of Garland. Needless to say they received their star and Ted now hold a very special place with them.
