A tale that is older than time, a legend that we all revere, a story that guides us through the darkness of life, Ramayana has been the guiding light of every Indian since ages irrespective of faith, beliefs and religion.
On the auspicious occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Of Lord Rama in the holy land of Ayodhya, Doordarshan in collaboration with India’s most loved storyteller Neelesh Misra as brought for you a series of storytelling with Neelesh Misra: “Kahaniyan Shri Ram Ki, Neelesh Misra Ke Saath”. In a series of two episodes, we shall witness the ‘Swayamvar’ of Mata Seeta which marks the beginning of a love story that is looked up to, across the world. We also witness the return of Lord Ram and Mata Seeta to Ayodhya after an exile of 14 years. Every living being on this earth celebrated the return of the holy duo, for it marked the triumph of good or evil, truth over falsehood and righteousness over immorality and deceit. This series brings to you some heartfelt stories from the great epic that brings to light the lessons of life.
