This speed test of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is using the Samsung T7 which is an external USB-C SSD storage drive. This T7 is the 1TB version.

While the T7 is not the fastest external SSD on USB-C that you can use. It is faster than the highest bitrate of any of the ProRes video formats that the iPhone 15 uses, including the ProRes video files recorded with the BlackMagic Cinema App.

This makes the Samsung T7 a really good choice for using with the iPhone 15 for recording external ProRes files or H.264 and H.265 video files.

In the video I said 7,200MB, this was wrong. I meant to say 72,000MB, which was indicated in the title. The voice-over was wrong, the title overlay was correct.
