In this video, I show how to wire an E-bike light into the E-bike battery on a 2022 Trek Rail 7.

using, be sure to watch the second video I made that reviews the light itself. It is important to put the light into E bike mode right away by holding the power button for eight seconds. Otherwise, if you put this particular light into high mode when not in E bike mode, it will draw too many amps from the Bosch battery system and you will be stuck in that mode until you connect it to a different (more robust) battery source to get the light into E bike mode. Don’t let that scary you away. The light is phenomenal, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
