On August 14, our #IndieFeatureFriday spotlight is on Sankofa Bookstore, an Afrocentric bookstore, one of very few in Canada. Based in Ottawa, the store's main purpose is to bring forward the missing link, that of the story of the Nubian, Kemetic, Moorish and Afrikan story.
