This video shows the entire Waterfall Trail hike which starts in the valley at Sandy Creek and goes up about 180' in elevation past a cascading waterfall, a bat cave, and numerous other granite formations until finally reaching 'Old Baldy', a large granite dome outcropping. From the dome you can see Enchanted Rock State Natural Area off in the distance about a mile away.
This hike was done at the end of March during the spring growing season, so the trail is difficult to see. During other times of the year the trail is much easier to see, and you can even see it in satellite photos. But in the spring the wildflowers and grass grows so quickly that it overtakes the trails for a while.
