Elon Musk in Court Over His $56bn Pay Package…

Tesla shareholders are not happy, that’s why they have brought on a court case against Elon Musk & Tesla, accusing the company of enriching Elon with a 56 billion dollar pay package at their expense.

In this court case, Elon will have to prove that he is deserving of this multibillion-dollar pay package.

This court case came just weeks after Musk took control of Twitter, which is now one of the multiple companies he’s in charge of.

The Tesla investor’s argue that Elon’s portfolio means he is managing too many companies to be considered a full-time CEO at Tesla. And definitely not being worthy of such a pay package.

Tesla argue that Musk never took a cash salary, and that the equity pay plan served it’s purpose.

If the Tesla shareholders end up winning this court case, this could spiral into a wave of similar challenges for other companies.
