In this video I hand forge a giant 10” chef knife from 80CrV2 steel. The knife has a brut de forge finish with walnut handle scales, and red G10 liners. I sanded the handle up to a 1000 grit finish before applying some Odies Oil finish. I applied 3 coats of Odies Oil with ~12 hours of cure time between coats.
