The Museum of Old and New Art MONA is an art museum in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is the largest privately funded museum in the Southern Hemisphere. Opened in 2011, MONA houses ancient, modern, and contemporary art from the David Walsh collection.

Tasmanians can visit MONA for free. For non-Tasmanians, museum entry is $35 for adults and $10 under 18. Under 12 are free but booking is still required.
You can visit Mona grounds, for lawn-lounging, outdoor art, alfresco eating and drinking, and live music for free. Mona is located eleven kilometers north of Hobart, about twenty-five minutes by ferry, or twenty minutes by road.
