Why this 4 Series is one of the finest cars on sale

The 2022 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe adds five-door hatchback practicality to one of the most well-rounded coupes on sale. In this CarGurus UK, review Rebecca Jackson tests the flagship M440i xDrive version to see if the added space has any negative impact on the car's performance or handling.

The M440i produces 374bhp and 359 lb ft of torque from its 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine, delivered to the road via an eight-speed automatic gearbox and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system. Getting from 0-62mph takes just 4.7 seconds, and the ride and handling balance is among the best in the business.

In this review, Rebecca gets behind the wheel to see just how capable the M440i is on UK roads, as well as looking at the car's practicality, quality, technology, infotainment and more.
