Let's start with the basics:

Type: Minivan
Year: 2019
Make: Dodge
Model: Grandcaravan
Trim: SXT
Exterior Paint: Granite Pearl
Interior: Black with Premium Seat with Suede Inserts
Wheels: 17-inch Aluminum Wheels
MSRP: $27,800

$28,000 is a great price, but if you like the latest technology in your vehicles, you should consider spending $2,000 to $3,000 more to upgrade to the Honda Odyssey (starting MSRP: $31,000) or the Kia Sedona (starting MSRP: at $30,000). Both drive just as nicely as the Dodge Grand Caravan and have much, much more updated interiors.

SPECS:
Engine: 3.6L V6 24-Valve VVT Egine
Transmission: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission
Horsepower: 283 hp
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded
MPG City: 17
MPG Highway: 25
Combined MPG:
Fuel Cap Location: Driver's side
Towing Capacity: 3,600 lbs

Handling:
Turning at slow speeds: Great! Drives just like a sedan. Parking the Grand Carvan at low speeds is a breeze.

Turning at high speeds: Also great! I felt super comfortable going around curves at 40+ mph. In fact, this minivan hugs the road so well that I found myself driving much more aggressively than in my own minivan (I drive a Kia Sedona)

Acceleration:
From a stop: Decent. The V6 performs well, but you certainly won't be the quickest vehicle on the road.

While moving: No great. It takes one or two full seconds before the engine will provide you with acceleration. This is comparable to most vehicles at this price point.

Cabin Noise: Meh, not great. Expect to have to increase the volume on your music/podcast/audiobook when driving at higher speeds.
