An update on my experience owning and trying to get my Volkswagen ID.4 repaired after multiple electrical systems failures. After 20 days in the shop and almost a month since being able to drive my ID.4, I get it back from the dealer with glaring issues before I even drive off the lot. The dealer (Capitol City Imports/Montpelier Volkswagen) was pushing me to give the loaner car back despite the obvious issues. It's hard to believe they took any time testing the vehicle before giving it back to me. The climate control was non-functional and as soon as I arrive at my house (5 miles from the dealer), the car dies in my driveway with the same electrical systems failure.
