Australia's Labor Prime Minister Bob Hawke in his sole debate with the Opposition Liberal leader Andrew Peacock for the 1990 elections. Unlike his previous debate with Peacock in 1984, Hawke bested his opponent in this debate.

Peacock would later lose the election to Hawke in what became Labor's 4th consecutive election victory, resulting in his resignation after being unable to beat Hawke twice.
