Welcome to part 2 of my Backyard Makeover project! I'm so excited to show you what I've done with the outdoor flooring.

I have been obsessed with Australian design and architecture for years, and this project is no exception. It was definitely inspired by a project in Australia that I absolutely love.

Therefore, I began my search for ceramic tiles, but everything I found was very expensive. What was the solution to this? One of my neighbours told me that a ceramic store gives away damaged tiles from transportation to get rid of them. Perfect! I went there and found a variety of broken tiles in both large and small pieces. It was perfect because I was going to break them myself anyway.

So.. going with a crazy paving tile floor was the perfect option!

What is Crazy Paving? Here's what Wikipedia says:
Crazy paving is a means of hard-surfacing used outdoors, most frequently in gardens. Paving stones of irregular size and shape are laid in a haphazard manner sometimes with mortar filling the gaps between.
