Courtney was living her dream trekking solo in Southeast Asia when the pandemic hit, sending her back to the US with no job, no plans, and an entirely new perspective. The idea of van life had always been in the back of her thoughts, and with quarantine stalling all travels, the timing seemed perfect. Fast forward seven months and Courtney is making her rounds through the country in Sheila Van Disco and loving it!

Her 1999 Ford E150 is small and modest, with a big personality from a colorful New Mexico tapestry. Her dry food is in a dry bin, and the chilled items are in a recycled cooler covered in stickers from her travels. Under the bed is where most of the storage is holding tools, camping equipment, and miscellaneous items. Sheila Van Disco comprises 90% secondhand material, and it's all Courtney needs as she spreads her magnetic smile wherever she lands.
