When 69-year-old Sheila Moore tested positive for COVID-19 this summer, she assumed it would be a mild case. But Sheila's symptoms quickly progressed, and on June 30, she was admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She spent 3 long, hard months' battling COVID-19 — including 7 weeks on a ventilator in the ICU. On Sept. 30, the Sarasota resident was finally healthy enough to return home.
