Compulsive overthinking is very much a part of the negative thought patterns of narcissistic abuse trauma. 🧡

You know what I mean … you just can’t stop yourself from continually psychoanalyzing everything that is happening to you.

But the really crazy thing about it is no matter how much you think about it, you just don't get peace, you don't get resolution, and you don't actually get a thought or some sort of closure within you that can stop the thoughts.

We cannot just click our fingers and get over it … we can't seem to shut the thoughts off – in many cases even years down the track.

Believe me, I tried so many ways to shut off those persistent and harmful thoughts but nothing worked until I understood what was keeping me stuck in those negative thought patterns.

In today’s Thriver TV video I will guide you in your understanding of how your broken beliefs feed into these traumas and how they are actually generating your life and why you cannot simply think your way out of obsessive thoughts.
