The Bird Man event (along with the Sand Castle event) were held at Island Bay Beach on Friday evening. Friday 16 February, 2024. Part of the annual Island Bay Festival, held each February.

Bird Man is where a group of creative volunteers jump off the wharf area, and FLY... for a few seconds... with the support of the seagulls...

Island Bay is a paradise-like suburb, and great place to live. Located on the southern coastal fringe of Wellington, with a population of 8,000. Captured with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra). Enjoy de video, and happy Leap Year :)
