As the mornings rain cleared and the sun broke through the clouds, it was an emotional afternoon in Cardiff, Wales.
An estimated 100 people, supporters of the Welsh C.N.D, Palestinian Solidarity Campaign and Stop The War Coalition gathered around the Anuerin Bevan statue for a vigil on behalf of Palestinian civilians who have lost their lives in Palestine since June 8th in the violence in the Gaza Strip. Members of the public took turns reading the list's of fatalaties which took nearly two hours to complete. Some were overcome with emotion and broke down in tears. A collection was made and nearly £250 was collected this money will go to MECA (Middle East Childrens Alliance).
