In this video, I document the construction of a Red Light Therapy booth in my home.
I start by modifying existing theatrical LED fixtures to use red and infrared wavelengths ranging from 620nm to 950nm (weighted heavier at 660nm and 850nm).
I then mount the lights into a closet lined with a reflective mylar sheet.
I also included some UV sources that I will help with Vitamin D synthesis in the winter months when I don't get much natural sunlight.
I use meters and a spectrometer to achieve the accurate dosing for each source, and then finally program a DMX lighting panel to control each fixture.
