UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese called for “immediate and unconditional sanctions” against Israel, citing that what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is most likely “ethnic cleansing”, during a press conference in Cairo on Thursday.
Albanese also expressed interest in investigating the extent to which countries supporting Israel, like the US, are “complicit in genocide.”
