The Engineers in China are redefining infrastructure development in the 21st century as the country's economy continues to develop. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the latest evidence.
The bridge, by spanning the Lingding Channel, will connect the biggest cities in the region, creating a large metropolitan district – the Hong Kong-Macao-Guangzhou Bay Area.
The area accounts for 10 percent of China's GDP.
The engineers are working flat-out to complete the bridge and make their contribution to boosting urbanization in China.
