In this clip Hadrat Mufakkir al-Islam Shaykh Sayyid 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani [Hafidahullah] proves from the Hadith of the Prophet [Sallallahu Alayhi Wa'aalihi Wasallam] which is recorded in Tafseer of Imam al-Qurtubi under Surah an-Nur [Surah Number : 24], Aaayahs 36-40, that decorating the mosques is permissible [allowed]. A great reply to those who accuse the Ahlus Sunnah wal-Jamaah of doing wrong by decorating the mosques with Lights on joyous occasions such as Mawlid-un-Nabi!
