-Built-In Bass Boost
-High Resistance to Interference
-High Maximum SPL Before Distortion
-XLR Output with Gold-Plated Contacts
-Windscreen Reduces Wind Noise
-Lightweight Brass Housing

The Synco Mic-D2 shotgun microphone features a hypercardioid polar pattern to deliver sharpened frontal focus and side rejection compared to supercardioid shotguns, allowing it to capture clear, quality dialogue and sound effects for independent filmmakers, videographers, and broadcasters.
The lightweight body is constructed from CNC-machined brass for improved resistance to interference and durability. The black speckle finish reduces reflectivity to ensure visual discretion during video shoots.
With strong sensitivity and high maximum SPL handling, the Mic-D2 provides robust distortion-free signal. Its circuit utilizes a built-in bass boost to enhance low-frequency detail. The microphone's XLR output and included XLR cable enable standardized hookup to mic preamps, mixers, and a variety of portable audio recorders. It is operated via 48V phantom power, so no batteries are required.
Tight Sound Pickup
Whereas traditional shotgun mics use supercardioid polar patterns, the Mic-D2 utilizes a hypercardioid pickup pattern to provide even tighter frontal focus, more attenuation at the sides, and slightly increased rear pickup, making it an ideal choice for recording in indoor or outdoor environments.

The Mic-D2's circuit employs a built-in bass boost to enhance the detail of low-frequency sources, lending its tone to complement sound effects as well as dialogue.
48V Phantom Powered
With its balanced 3-pin XLR output and 48V phantom powering, the Mic-D2 can be used with an array of handheld audio recorders, field recorders, and mixer adapters as well as built-in preamps on many camcorders. The XLR connector's gold-plated contacts improve conductivity to maintain the integrity of your signal.
Ideal for Boompole Mounting
Lightweight and nearly 10" long, the Mic-D2 is well suited for use on a boompole or mic stand. It includes a mic holder with 5/8" and 3/8" options for mounting versatility.
Windscreen Minimizes Wind Noise
The Mic-D2 includes a foam windscreen to reduce unwanted wind noise from breezes, fans, heaters, and air conditioners.
