British manufacturing are warning that the out of control energy prices represent a serious threat to production. However, the government are suggesting that there is nothing more than they were willing to do. Their chief brexit economist, did say, several times, that we'd have to eliminate most manufacturing in this country if we left the EU. It should not come as a surprise that the government are permitting this, perhaps even seeing advantage in it.
