Preventing high intraocular pressure (IOP) is very important when treating glaucoma. On occasion this even requires surgical intervention. This 3D animation shows off a new device that provides a minimally invasive approach to draining the eye in glaucoma patients.

Depicting a novel procedure for lowering intraocular pressure, this eye animation required a beautiful cut section of the eye. We chose to show this as a soft illustration, similar to a colorized look of a medical textbook illustration. This was then contrast by showing the procedure in the Shlemm's canal with full VFX in a high contrast 3D environment. An example of versatility in animation, we have created VR versions of this also.
