These Sokietech Hood Struts are well made and require no drilling to the hood or engine bay area like other brands. They use an upper mount that bolts into the hood hinges and factory holes in the engine bay. Install was super easy just make sure you have the correct size for each side. The longer strut goes on the passenger side, the shorter strut goes on the driver side. It did raise the hood quite a bit over the stock height once opened, however it did not cause any interference with the KC Flex ditch lights when opened. Another bonus I noticed is now with the hood up the engine bay area looks more open without the stock hood holder piece in the way. Links below, hope you enjoy.
