The Ford F-150 is a solid looking car. However, looks can be very deceiving. I am sure ford is not to proud of this truck. If you are in the market for one of these 11th gen Ford F-150s from 2004-2008, then I would definitly look at the 10th gen instead of even a Chevy becuase the issues on these cars can pile up.
