In this episode we continue the cleaning of Mr Croxton, removing layers of dirt and discoloured varnish. The research I've done online takes me down a rabbit hole and we get the painting ready for a barrier varnish and retouching.

James Bloomfield is an accredited Art Restorer and Artist and has worked on 1000's of oil paintings. He was selected for the prestigious John Moores painting prize in 2012 and has his artwork in museum collections in the UK. He lives and works in Manchester England.
