Installing a Replacement LNB on a Satellite Dish for Satellite TV

It’s possible to change an LNB on a subscription satellite dish to use it for satellite TV, but it’s not a simple straightforward bolt-on replacement. Quite a bit of adjustment, some modification, and some finessing will be necessary to aim the LNB at the dish focal point. In this video I will discuss the process and show some results.

A linear ku band LNB is required to receive TV channels. Use a larger dish, such as an oval shaped dish from Shaw or DirectTV.
