In Joe Biden's first address to congress he laid out his proposal for the American Families Plan. This plan comes with a $1.8 trillion dollar price tag that will be paid for by increasing the top tax bracket along with an increase in the capital gains tax for people making over $1 Million per year.

The main pieces of the plan are education, child care costs, paid family leave and extension of the tax credit.
