2019 SLICK RIG CONTEST
Austin Ross is a pipeline welder and he just went to his first steward school. He is a new(er) member of the local 798 union. The local 798 steward school is almost a week long and on the last day they do this contest. The school and other events are a great way for members of 798 pipeline union to learn and network since everyone is in one place at a time. Many pipeliners spends years where they won’t see buddies from old jobs so this is a great way to catch a lot of people at once. Here on this channel Austin talks about being a rig welder, the traveling lifestyle and a little everyday life.
