The history of private jets goes back to the beginnings of aviation itself when the first aircraft models could only carry a limited number of passengers. Following the technological advancements in the wake of World War I, private-jet travel was pioneered by the two-seater Piper Cub and Cessna Airmaster, as some destinations could not be easily reached by commercial flights. In the 1950s, the private jet Lockheed Jetstar was already able to transport 10 passengers and two crew members, sparking the rise of business jets. Over time, even influential and famous celebrities like Frank Sinatra saw the charm and convenience of private jets. The growing demand eventually led aviation companies to develop their jets with style, comfort, and performance, which we will talk about in today’s video.
