Hello and welcome to today's journey. We'll be riding a diesel train operated by Serbian Railways from Serbia's capital to Vršac, a town near the Romanian border. The railway we'll be travelling on is not electrified, and currently, six pairs of DMU trains run daily. Unfortunately, no passenger train crosses the border at this time. Trains to Bucharest used to pass through here, connecting the Serbian and Romanian capitals. We hope that this line will be restored soon to strengthen the connection between these two countries.
