Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to Fighting Spirit Film Festival. During Fighting Spirit Film Festival 2023 Weekend Day 2, we were honoured to have Jess Liaudin at the festival and do a Q+A, hosted by Nanni Cobretti.

Jess Liaudin is a French actor, stunt performer, kickboxer and mixed martial artist, who competed from 1990 to 2014. You may have seen him in Irma Vep as Santanas, Luther: The Fallen Sun as Nilsson and One Ranger as Oleg Jakovenko.

We screened the short film Cauliflower, directed by Aurélien Heilbronn, written by Alaric Smeets, starring Jess Liaudin. Cauliflower is a cinematic short film that touches the senses, with its poetic, avant garde surrealism inspiration. Cauliflower dives into the meaning of cauliflower ear as a badge of honour that is earned.
