Dr. Alistair Blachford came to UBC in 1985 and was the Computing Manager in the UBC Department of Zoology until his retirement in 2021. In that time, computer technology has changed massively and so has the way we use them to study biodiversity. Alistair shows off some of the computer equipment he has collected and tells us about where things are going in the future.
