*** A big reminder friends - I do not have a telegram account and I will never reply to your comments and direct you to chat with me outside of YouTube on another platform. So anything that says "text me on telegram", "let's chat" or anything like that is not me, and is a scam. So please do not reply to them, rather report them if you can. I do report and block them as I see them, but they inevitably work their way back in under another name using my logo. ***

It's a good thing I ended up making that window template as I really did need it. My first attempt at re-framing the rough window openings didn't go very well, and I had to change it. I also now have someone who is going to help me transport the big windows out there, down the mountain, and into place. Phew! I really just want to get this done!
Because of this, I've yet again changed gears away from the wood stove surround and towards the windows. I also share a new idea I have about the wood stove and how to make it more efficient for the space.

I don't think I could have done all that work on the big cedar rafters without that nice little battery chainsaw, so that really concludes how much I'm loving that little thing!

Finally, finally, I clear the deck of all that stored lumber and have a short dance party to celebrate. Haha.
In a way, it's a little sad to think that I milled all that lumber, transported it out there and down the mountain (a lot of work!) and most of it won't get used for this cabin. BUT, I do still need to build a couple of more things there on the cliff, so I'm sure none of it will go to waste 😊

If I'm being completely honest, I am getting tired of this cabin build, and wanna start working on something else. I need something else to make me go crazy. Haha. But I'm just getting to the parts that I've been most looking forward to, and that's all the finishing work. I've had to endure over 2 years of building/doing the stuff I'm not good at in order to get to the part I actually care about. Anyone else feel like this about their projects?!? πŸ€ͺ

But we all know its about the journey, not the destination.

Thanks for watching and see you in the next one!
