Keeping up its momentum introducing refreshed models, Hyundai took the drapes off its Tucson crossover and Santa Cruz pickup truck at the 2024 New York International Auto Show in Manhattan.

Referred to as a "sport adventure vehicle" and not a pickup truck in Hyundai corporate lingo, the 2025 Santa Cruz gains massaged exterior styling, as well as the brand's butch XRT trim, which takes those new styling cues and cranks them all the way to eleven.

The Tucson gets an XRT variant for 2025 as well. It gains prominent lower-door side cladding, plus a dark chrome accent grille, the latter of which is usually reserved for top trims; however, it doesn’t appear there will be any extra ground clearance compared to other trims.
