Here's Why You Should Say No to Power Only Loads! Owner Operator Truckers should avoid Power Only Loads at all costs and should focus on finding themselves a trailer instead.

In this video we explain why #PowerOnly loads, load outs, and toaways, are a bad way to run a trucking company. We receive a lot of phone calls from #Truckers asking for truck dispatch services for #PowerOnly loads.

We're an established truck dispatch service and owner operator leasing company and we don't work with power only loads because they're more headache than they're worth. It seems straightforward to take power only loads since brokers pay truckers to haul empty trailers for a week that they can use to move freight in. Unfortunately there are several major problems created by power only loads which novice truck drivers don't know about.

One of the biggest problems with power only loads is deadhead. You will deadhead to get your power only trailer, you'll deadhead to get your load, and you'll deadhead from your last delivery to drop off your power only trailer.

Another problem is liability, power only trailers require large interchange insurance policies to haul power only loads. This is not only expensive but also creates a lot of liability that falls on the trucker's shoulders. The amount of time you're given to haul power only loads is simply now enough to find the highest paying truck loads in the market. If your power only trailer is damaged, you'll be held responsible and it can be quite costly.

Watch the video to learn why you should almost always say NO to Power Only Loads! You'll be glad you did and it's likely to save you a lot of time, money, and unnecessary aggravation.
