St Paul's Church is a local treasure. It was built to replace an old church built pre-1559. The first service took place on September 3rd, 1849, and continued until 1984 when it closed down. It has fabulous stain glass windows designed by Katie O'Brien and donated by the Robinson Family when the church was first built. It has a fantastic pipe organ donated by Seymour Murphy, which is one of only three in Ireland. There is something truly special about this church. It has a belfry spire with a unique conical shape. The architecture was considered so outstanding that Dr Bloomfeild, the late Bishop of London was anxious to have a drawing done of it, in order to introduce it to the wealthiest and most important diocese in the world. The church was lit with brass oil lamps, though it was changed to electricity shortly before its closure. It is sad to see it in its damaged state. It is hoped that it will continue to be a heritage treasure for years to come.

In the middle of the cemetery in a ruined church, which was built in 1699.
The cemetery is regularly maintained and is open to the public. Many local heroes are buried in Ballymoney cemetery. Joseph daunt 1826, Lennox Robinson, a poet and a man who worked with theatre for many years and General Arthur O'Connor to name but a few. Many of those buried were involved in the Ambush at Kilmichael.

unfortunately, signs say danger. Keep out, but you can access the graveyard.
