ABOUT MERE RAGHUNATH SONG
This song will once again take you closer to Treta Yuga. Like every time, this time also the poet is telling the feeling of breathing in his Treta while living in Kalyug. In this song the poet is telling that his agony and suffering has crossed its limits. The poet wants to go to Raghunath ji to get relief from his heavy pains (Rama – also known as Raghunath, an Avatar of Vishnu). Lord Ram is always mentioned in the poet's songs because he knows that Ram knows and recognizes his all the pains very well. Only Lord Ram will free him from his pains and daily tears. Here the poet is engrossed in the emotion of Jatayu and is telling Lord Rama that he too wants death like Jatayu. Because in the last moments, Jatayu gave up his life by keeping his head on Lord Rama's lap.

ABOUT RAM NAVAMI (राम नवमी)
Ram Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ram to King Dasharath and Queen Kausalya in Ayodhya in Treta Yuga. A spring festival, it is celebrated on the ninth day of Chaitra month – the first month in the Hindu lunar. So, every year, with a lot of faith and dedication, around March and April, millions of Hindus around the world flock into temples to celebrate Lord Ram's birth.

The significance of the festival is that it indicates the victory of good over evil and establishment of dharma to beat adharma. The Rama Navami festival celebration starts with jalam (water) offering in the early morning to Surya (the sun god) to propitatiate him. This is due to the belief that the descendants of Surya were the ancestors of Rama
