Auger Torque can handle digging through asphalt or frozen ground and it tear through ground with ease. The post holes are for a gate operator, so the auger needs to be close enough that it won’t hit the chain link fence. The auger is usually buried below the surface of the ground. It’s important to know how deep you need to go, so you don’t hit utilities or other things that can cause problems. The auger should be able to dig through concrete if necessary.
