2023 Toyota bZ4X with an all-new, all-electric way of thinking will be the first fully electric model introduced by The Subaru-Toyota collaboration. The BZ in the model name bZ4X conveys the meaning beyond zero by which the company wants to bring the auto market closer to a cleaner, more sustainable future. The next step for the world is not just to surpass zero emissions in the environment but to go beyond that and create a new positive impact in the world.

Toyota automakers have been the best selling people’s favourite for decades. Even with a cleaner future in mind, Toyota hasn't compromised in any way. Their first all-electric vehicle comes with an impressive range of up to 250 miles. It comes with several handy and latest features including an Automated parking system from the outside, hands-free driving on the highway, digital instrument panel and touchscreen display, technology and many other technologies. Give this video a big thumbs up and hit that bell icon as we get into more details of the EV.

Power, Range and Battery

The bZ4X is the first model of the Toyota automakers that is based on the BEV-dedicated e-TNGA platform. Toyota says that the bZ4X will offer the latest AWD technologies and a smooth, comfortable and fun driving performance to its riders.

Just like the Japanese version, the US version of the Toyota bZ4X will come in two ranges. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive will come with a 150 kW electric motor. It will have an estimated range of 250 miles with a 71.4 kWh battery. All-wheel drive will come with a 160 kW electric motor. The range estimation for the all-wheel-drive models of the bZ4X is not yet disclosed. But we know that it will come with a 72.8 kWh battery.

The battery is placed low in the chassis which creates extra space in the vehicle. Not just this, you can feel a lower centre of gravity with every turn.

Toyota claims the AWD version can go from 0-62 mph in 7.7 seconds whereas it takes 8.4 seconds with FWD. The Japanese and US versions are almost the same except the all-wheel-drive version has a battery of 72.8 kWh.

As soon as Toyota will reveal the range of its AWD version, we will be the first to update you through our videos. So don’t forget to hit that bell icon to never miss out on any video. The good thing about bZ4X for you is that the battery should be long lasting with an estimated life span of more than 10 years. Even after 10 years of ownership or with a drive of 150,000 miles, 90% of the initial battery capacity will be retained.
