Alright alright, low-key I gave myself anxiety right before watching this so some of the things that made an impact on me are not things that I expressed a reaction toward. Like King having powers!! and WE SEE EDA'S DAD!! And he loses an eye!! Dear god, storytellers really like "grievous injury" as a non-death form of trauma.

Seeing the DETAILS of the Raine x Eda breakup gutted me. I still ship 'em. I'm really wondering how they got to be on more friendly-affectionate terms over the years. Maybe they just remember the good times over the bad? But Eda obviously still thinks about it...
Last episode I said "Eda is single by choice" but I hadn't considered that someone cool enough to date her would also be cool enough to dump her.

It's really neat that this show portrays Eda's medicine with respect. It is needed, not to be discarded, and it is an essential tool of her progress. I'm so used to medicine being demonized in media.
