Last year, Ford announced the return of the Ranger's retro-inspired Splash package, as well as the availability of a limited number of 2022 vehicles in a variety of additional distinctive colors that would be unveiled quarterly. At the time, the Snow Edition was the first of these one-time-only Splash Limited Edition colors to be released, and it was the first of these colors to be disclosed. Ford has now provided additional images and other information on the upcoming Forest Edition & Sand Edition vehicles.
Hey, while we have you for a moment, would you hit that subscribe button if you like these kind of updates and hey, hit that like button too. Why not? Alright, back to the story.
The paint color for the Snow Edition is named Avalanche, which means "snow."
In addition to covering much of the mid-size truck's bodywork, the tinted grille nostrils are also visible. Lariat trim level features black leather seating with Ash Gray contrast stitching, which is countered by carbon-fiber-like stripes on the seats, standard on all other trim levels. According to Ford, approximately 750 Snow Editions are scheduled to be made available starting this spring.

In keeping with its name, the 2022 Ford Ranger Sand Edition is painted in the colors of beaches, dunes, and deserts, among other places. The paint hue is referred to as Desert Sand in the official name. Unlike the Snow Edition, the grille nostrils on this model are painted red, which adds a lovely splash of color to the otherwise simple color scheme of the car. The interior remains mostly unchanged, except for the leather seats being replaced by black fabric in the XLT trim level. The contrasting stitching & carbon-fiber-like design features, on the other hand, remain. Ford is reserving fewer Ranger vehicles for the Sand Edition, stating that just around 500 vehicles will be available for purchase when orders open this summer.

The Forest Edition is our favorite of the new unique versions. The vehicle is painted in a stunning shade of green dubbed Forged Green, which gives it its most prosperous and rough aspect. Including the 18-inch black wheels & red grille nostrils, it makes a stylish statement overall. The XLT trim level has black cloth seating with the abovementioned inside accents once again as standard equipment. According to Ford, when it goes on sale this summer, the Forest Edition will be available in a limited run of around 500 pieces.

A $1495 premium will be added to the price of each of the three Splash Limited Editions. Essentially, this is the same price as the standard Splash aesthetic package, which includes black body-side graphics, orange paint, and a variety of distinctive interior amenities. In contrast to the Limited Editions, the orange Splash option will be available on both XLT and Lariat versions throughout the 2022 model year.
