Better Call Saul opened season 6 with two fantastic episodes. In episode 1 things pick up right after the finale of season 5. Lalo puts a plan in motion to fake his death, and Nacho runs away with no one he can trust. Jimmy and Kim start to go after Howard Hamlin to try to force HHM and Davis and Main to settle the Sandpiper case. Gus is stuck after he’s failed assassination attempt and trying to figure out what to do to keep the cartel from discovering what he did.

The premiere episode broke from tradition and didn’t open with a scene featuring Gene Takavic in Omaha. Instead we got a look inside Saul Goodman’s house after the events of Breaking Bad. This was an interesting surprise that brought up a lot of questions about the private life of the character we had only seen working for Walter White.

In episode 2 things get worse for Nacho as the cartel learns his location. Jim and Kimmy use the Kettlemans to spread a rumor about Howard. Kim is pushing things and taking the lead in their planning. This is a different side of the character, and it may lead to a fall.

In the final 13 episodes, we’ll find out why Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) isn’t in Jimmy’s life in Breaking Bad. We’ll learn the fates of Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton).

The released date for the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul is April 18, 2022. Season 6 will be split into two halves with part 2 premiering on July 11. There will be 13 episodes in total.

AMC announced today that the highly anticipated sixth and final season of its Emmy-nominated acclaimed drama Better Call Saul, produced by Sony Pictures Television, will premiere with two back-to-back-episodes on Monday, April 18 at 9:00pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. Heralded as “a beautiful tragedy and gripping character drama” (IndieWire) and “one of the best dramas on television” (Vulture), Saul’s 13-episode final season will roll out in two parts with the first seven episodes beginning April 18 and culminating with the series’ final six episodes beginning July 11.

Better Call Saul’s final season concludes the complicated journey and transformation of its compromised hero, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From the cartel to the courthouse, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season six tracks Jimmy, Saul and Gene as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are locked into a game of cat and mouse with mortal stakes.

Better Call Saul is a television drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. It is a spin-off prequel of Gilligan's prior series Breaking Bad. Set in the early 2000s, Better Call Saul follows the story of con-man turned small-time lawyer, Jimmy McGill, beginning six years before the events of Breaking Bad, showing his transformation into the persona of criminal-for-hire Saul Goodman. Jimmy becomes the lawyer for former beat cop Mike Ehrmantraut, whose relevant skill set allows him to enter the criminal underworld of drug trafficking in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The show premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015. The show's sixth and final season premiered on April 18, 2022.
