After spending a week on our own in the bush at Basket Swamp National Park, we headed for the big city light of the Gold Coast.

This tourist hotspot is filled with endless golf courses, beautiful beaches and of course the theme parks! Plus beautiful national parks such as Springbrook NP right around the corner!

We loved our time there but were eager to head bush and away from the crowds after a few days!
